Good examples of films with children to face adversity?
I'm looking for a couple of movies that show children face, and we hope to overcome adversity. I have a lot of documentaries, so now I'm looking for great movies, thanks!

I encouraged to review their public library: Ponette (1996, French) Six years Thivisol Victoria actress made a special performance that daughter cope with the loss of his mother. To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) The family lost their mother, children play and learn in your world of ignorance, fear, hatred, racism and superstition. His father and some urban teach by example of love and respect. What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993) with Johnny Depp and Leonardo Di Caprio. Gilbert (Depp) father in the world of despair and hope, overresponsibility and grace, while trying to keep her family together and special care of her brother (Di Caprio). The 400 Blows (France, 1959, dir François Truffaut) The coming of age film, the first in a semi-autobiographical series Truffaut's Antoine Doinel, a boy living in a dysfunctional family. He would do anything to escape, film, the ends of the earth. Truffaut's great gift was his ability to film the children with love and dignity. The puppet theater is not to be missed. My Life as a Dog (Swedish, "Mit Liv som Hund, 1985) When a mother becomes a chronic disease that breaks down the home and separated from her son, sent to live with different relatives. During all the chaos of the family, one of them looks a little peace. Fanny and Alexander (Sweden, "Fanny och Alexander", 1982, dir Ingmar Bergman) After a family tragedy, two children must live with a dynamic Bishop stern prohibited.
