If children under 2-D shows three films?
We are thinking about going to see Polar Express at the IMAX theater and someone told us that it is dangerous for girls or eyes, because only two years. Is this true? Does anyone know where I can read about this topic?
It is not dangerous for the eyes. The only reason I can think anyone would say it would be if it were a strong supporter of the statement "Children under age 2 should not watch TV." TV / Film can make the mind the levels of development faced artificial stimulation … blah, blah, blah … I have a degree in child development and could write a 10 page report on this subject. Reason for a 2yr would not see ANY movie, especially a 3-D, because they have no attention span, nor the patience to watch a whole movie. They should not, at this age. It would have to wear glasses, I can guarantee you not, and could be a little worried about the film outside it. Give it a few years. With best wishes =]
