what is the difference from horror movies in the 1931 and horror movies in 2008?
i guess this would be a compare and contrast kind of thing. i hope you can help and thanks if you can!!

Horror films, in the early 30′s, relied heavily on the use of imagination rather than the graphic, in your face, blood, guts, and gore of the latest films.
On the whole the violence took place off screen or with the use of shadow play where modern films rely almost 100% on visual violence.
