What is the best alternative to the 2010 Apple Cinema Display?
Hi, can anyone suggest the best alternative monitor (must be a monitor not a TV) other than the Apple Cinema Display which has a hefty price tag. I will be plugging in a 15″ MBP – recent model. Thanks.
The cheapest 30″ screen I could find on Newegg is $1,159 + tax and S&H

It supports DVI and has the same res as the Apple.
Good luck finding another screen with the same quality as the Apple for cheaper. I have a smaller version of those screens from when they were available (20 inch, $800), the only screens that have come close to being able to reproduce the colors like this one, go for similar prices, even from other brands 5 years later.
