Actors As Artists
As actors, they are sometimes difficult steps in our work when we feel inadequate and oxidized. We are after all sensitive artists. No matter what good or famous actor of "Show Business", they all go through these steps. This is normal, you're not alone.
Harold Guskin offers a great technique working all the time. This extraordinary car, an actor and director is often called a doctor "act." He has worked with dozens of stage and actors, including screen Kevin Kline, Glenn Close, James Gandolfini, Bridget Fonda and many others. I encourage actors to read this great book. I have read at least four times, however, analyzed and used as a reference tool whenever I encounter a roadblock in a scene, writing and character.
John Lahr of The New Yorker said: "The Great Guskin "shares the approach used to help the roles of the actors in the land, develop them and keep them alive." I agree with Lahr, is not after all workers were employed by an Actor entertaining?
How can we listen, if he or she is not uniform and once again not credible. He shows you exactly Guskin what you do as an actor in order not to fall into the trap of always / old habits (which means) and again that is also called repetition. " Let's face it, people do not enjoy watching the actors repeat the same performance for each character they play. If you can develop your character and play the page, then you will not be able to deliver the message of character to the audience, unfortunately, gave away his audience.
