Inspired by a dream, an elderly Fijian matriarch commands her grandchildren to throw one last great feast at which she will name her successor. But this simple task proves nearly impossible as the deep-seated rifts of a painful family legacy threaten to not only derail the feast, but to tear apart the family as well. Before it’s too late, the grandchildren must unite the family and prove to their Nanna Maria that her family will again know passion, joy and life, before – and after – she’s gone.
